WHISPERING WINDS

One of the very few natural "instruments" that would almost be able to write a melody by itself is the wind. From the mild breeze to the hurricane, wind knows how to express a vast array of emotions. If you bring together this very natural mood with deep surfaces, field recordings, samples and shallow instrumentation, you get "Whispering Winds". The fourth album by Scarless Arms, in the deepest, cinematic dark ambient manner, uses wind as a harmonious overall concept. As the "Sleeping deeper as i can fall" succsessor is again completely instrumental. As always, much emphasis has been put on the names of the titles in order to put to incline listeners for further fantasy.

Eines der sehr wenigen, natürlichen „Instrumente“ die fast in der Lage wären selbst eine Melodie zu schreiben ist Wind. Vom lauen Lüftchen bis zum Orkan weiß Wind die unterschiedlichsten Emotionen auszudrücken. Wenn man nun diese überaus natürliche Grundstimmung mit tiefen Flächen, Field Recordings, Samples und seichter Instrumentierung zusammen bringt, erhält man „Whispering Winds“. Das vierte Album von Scarless Arms, in tiefster, cinematischer Dark Ambient Manier verarbeitet Wind als harmonisches Gesamtkonzept. Da auch der „sleeping deeper as i could fall“-Nachfolger wieder komplett instrumental ist, wird wie immer viel Wert auf die Namen der Titel gelegt um den geneigten Hören in eine, der weiteren Fantasie überlassenen Ausgangssituation zu versetzen.
